What makes a story and what makes a good story-Derick Porter

A story is fictional however; we don't read stories for the facts. A story will have a beginning a middle and a end. Even some stories have a boring beginning that is no reason to give up on a story. Good stories have an interesting and sometimes a complex storyline dependent of the readers tastes. A good story has a conflict that can be anything from a getting lost in a zombie riddled town to a conflict about who will survive a last man/woman standing contest. Usually in these stories the protagonist comes out the victor over the bad guys! I find for me that a good story does not end with the end.

My new vacuum- Monday's Post- Derick Porter

This vacuum is top notch to me in comparison to my old vacuum. My old vacuum had only a small tray which required emptying often. My hoover vacuum has a container that will allow to vacuum without emptying for about a month ( of course I will still clean it before then). My new hoover pet preferred vacuum has a cord that comes to you not to it in a push of a button! Setup is incredibly easy and the suction has left me speechless. I am glad I went and bought this miracle from hoover.

My favorite dish

My favorite dish has a very ethnic smell with variety of vegetables mixed together with chicken. When i eat my favorite dish i like to have it with soy sauce and a light amount of sweet and sour. The main ingredient this dish is chicken the chicken is cooked in a wok with a szechuan sauce that sends my taste buds to the stars. The ingredient are mixed together with the chicken adding a sweet and spicy flavor that i absolutely love. I enjoy this dish because it has so many flavors. I also enjoy this tasty delightful light dish because it’s best characteristic is it’s simplicity and it requires a small amount of time.

The main point of my paragraph is to show that this dish has a lot of variety of foods.

My most recent speech

My most recent speech was on Addison's Disease in my communications class. I prepped for a month to assure that my speech was absolutely amazing. The had arrived to for me to give my speech and it was my turn. I got up to the stage and you could hear a pin drop. I start my speech with a bang loud and confident. As I continued to speak my voice started to stutter and crack. I spoke on feeling sweat droplets collect on my forehead. The audience was quiet quite simply out of respect for me but it did not help. I was proud to find out even though I sweated it I still found that I  still received a B proving that even some big things aren't worth getting worked up over.
